Indigio Helps Denver Botanic Gardens’ Web Site Blossom

Spring has sprung and Denver Botanic Gardens’ Web site is in full bloom. Our team performed a major site redesign, which was built in less than two months and launched in April. As we prepare to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we are proud to give back to the community by donating all time for this project in the spirit of goodwill.
The Gardens launched their first major rebranding effort in 30 years, which presented a need for their Web site to mirror this new branding. The new site complements this rebrand and offers a cleaner and more contemporary visual of the Gardens. The Gardens’ new site was created by leveraging a Drupal content management system, enabling the Gardens to easily update. This transformation extends a major benefit to the Gardens as past system architecture made it difficult to make changes.
Our teams worked together with a goal of creating an engaging user experience for varying demographics and users. The home page is intentionally structured to focus on the items that are most frequently visited and the content was written in a friendly voice that encourages visitors to engage in the Gardens.
“Working with the Gardens has been nothing short of inspiring. It has been a privilege to be associated with the enthusiastic, appreciative and talented individuals that have been a part of the site redesign,” comments Indigio Creative Director, Sara Pacheco. Pacheco adds, “At the beginning of this process we set out to capture the true spirit of the Gardens through their online presence and I am proud to say that we accomplished that.”
Brian Vogt, CEO at Denver Botanic Gardens, says, “The four core values of the new branding platform at Denver Botanic Gardens -- transformation, relevance, diversity and sustainability -- spell out the Gardens' intentions in the years ahead and are beautifully represented in the design of our new Web site. With the significant support and talent of our friends and strategic partners at Indigio, we set out to ensure Denver Botanic Gardens will flourish. Our new Web site reflects the importance of our partnership with Indigio and features design and development that is best-in-class.”
Indigio and Van Gilder Demonstrate Colorado Companies Working Together

People who live in Denver take pride in the fact that they can call Colorado home. Businesses who are fortunate enough to be based in Colorado stretch that pride one step further by supporting one another when the opportunity arises and we have done just this with Van Gilder.
Based on a recommendation and exemplary customer service, our agency selected Van Gilder as our insurance broker. Upon introduction, Van Gilder realized that they needed help with their Web site and chose Indigio as their interactive agency. This partnership was further demonstrated with Van Gilder and Indigio strategically positioning their Chamber of Commerce tradeshow booths near one another each quarter, allowing attendees to learn about the partnership that exists between fellow Denver companies.
Van Gilder tasked us with four site redesigns including their primary brochure site, www.vgic.com. In addition, we have aided Van Gilder in building their online strategy by optimizing brand, presence and messaging on www.bsacouncilinsurance.com, www.enriskservices.com, and remax-insurancesolutions.com. All of Van Gilder’s brochure sites were created with the intention of being more consumer friendly and easy to navigate, while leveraging Van Gilder’s affiliate network.
“We are grateful that Van Gilder was recommended to us as their organization has always been responsive, helpful and prepared,” comments Laurie Halvorsen, Controller for Indigio. Halvorsen adds, “There is a peace of mind that comes with being able to work with an organization that resides in the same city as our corporation.”
